Terms of Service

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms govern access to and use of the canAI.dog service (the "​Service"), operated by Antonio Sierra Saavedra ("canAI"). By creating an account or using the Service you fully accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is currently in public beta. It may contain errors, interruptions and frequent changes. During this phase it is provided "as is".

2. Service description

canAI.dog is a digital platform that offers:

• AI conversational assistant for queries about domestic dogs.
• Dog profile management (health, nutrition, behaviour).
• Personalised product and care recommendations.
• Digital passport and emergency tools for pets.
• AI-generated visual content (merchandise).

The Service is not a veterinary service. AI assistant responses are informational and orientative. They do not constitute a diagnosis, prescription or veterinary medical advice. For any health issue with your animal, always consult a licensed veterinarian.

3. Registration and access

To use the Service you must:

• Be at least 13 (UK) / 16 (EU) years old, or have your legal guardian's permission.
• Provide a valid email address.
• Accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity performed under your account.

4. Permitted and prohibited use

You agree to use the Service lawfully and respectfully. The following is prohibited:

• Using the Service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
• Attempting to access other users' data.
• Overloading the system with automated requests (scraping, bots).
• Submitting offensive, false or rights-infringing content.
• Using the Service to train competing AI models without written authorisation.
• Reselling or sublicensing access to the Service.

5. User content

You are solely responsible for the content you submit (dog data, photos, chat messages). You do not transfer any intellectual property rights to canAI over your personal data or your dog's data.

You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (for example, forwarding your query to the AI model to generate a response).

6. canAI intellectual property

The code, design, brand, text and prompts of the Service are owned by canAI or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution or modification without express authorisation is prohibited.

AI-generated images created through the Service (merchandise) may be freely downloaded and used for personal, non-commercial purposes.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, canAI shall not be liable for:

• Damages from following AI assistant suggestions without veterinary supervision.
• Service interruptions during the beta phase.
• Data loss caused by circumstances beyond our control.
• Decisions made based on platform recommendations.
• Content of third-party websites linked from the Service.

canAI's total liability to you is limited to the amount paid for the Service in the last 12 months (currently €0 during beta).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including (in the UK) liability under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or breach of statutory terms.

8. AI and accuracy of information

AI assistant responses are generated by third-party language models (Anthropic Claude). Although we strive for quality, the AI may make mistakes, hallucinate or provide outdated information.

Never make decisions about your dog's health based solely on canAI responses. Always consult a licensed veterinarian.

9. Cancellation

You can cancel your account at any time by writing to hola@purzi.dog. Your data will be deleted within 30 calendar days. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms without prior notice.

10. Changes

canAI may modify these Terms. Substantial changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service after the notification implies acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Amazon Associates Program

canAI participates in the Amazon Associates Program. Product links marked (*) generate a small commission for canAI at no additional cost to you. This does not influence the order or selection of recommended products — we recommend them based on their suitability for your dog.

Affiliate tags used: canaidog-21 (Spain) and canaidog0c-21 (Germany).

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts of Madrid. For consumers habitually resident in the UK or EU, mandatory local consumer protection rules remain unaffected — you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your country of residence where the law allows.

13. Subscription, pricing and payment

canAI.dog offers a free tier ("Free Plan") and paid subscription plans ("Plus Plan"). Current prices and feature differences are published on the pricing page (purzi.dog/pricing).

Billing. The Plus subscription is monthly and renews automatically. You are charged at the time of sign-up and thereafter on the same calendar day each month, via the payment method linked to your account in the app store (Apple App Store). Apple acts as merchant of record; Apple's purchase terms apply alongside these Terms.

Price changes. canAI may modify subscription prices. Changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance by email. The new price applies from the next billing cycle after notification. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.

Cancellation.You may cancel the subscription at any time from your device's account settings (iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; until then you retain access to the Plus Plan. No pro-rated refunds are given for unused periods unless required by applicable law.

14. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)

If you subscribe to the Plus Plan as a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 calendar days of sign-up, without giving any reason.

Loss of withdrawal right. If you have expressly requested that the digital service begins before the withdrawal period expires and the service has been fully performed, you will lose your right of withdrawal (EU Directive 2011/83/EU art. 16(m); UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 reg. 37). By completing the purchase you acknowledge and consent to the immediate start of the service and the resulting loss of the withdrawal right once the service has been fully performed.

Exercising the right. If the withdrawal period has not yet expired, you may exercise it by sending an unambiguous statement to hola@purzi.dog or through the app store's refund mechanism. We will process the refund within 14 days using the same payment method.
